Told you so! POMC Breach
This breach occured at the Heads where vast amounts of rocks had not be cleared from the dredged area. Concern is also rising as the presence of radioactive contaminants in the Yarra have not been properly ruled out. Fears for the life of the bay as a result of the channel deepening project are slowly being realised, even despite only limited continuing publicity. There is no comfort in saying "We told you so!" because it is too late for many of the creatures who live at the RIP, and Melbourne's own toxic marine waste dump sreads it plume larger each day., all for a short sighted, profit driven, project.
